Witch "I hesitate to interfere."
Magni "Then don't! I've seen what happens when idiots try to harness
the power of the Fount…(everyone looks at Ameer, who is glaring at Dan) You're
not there, Ameer."
Magni (upon seeing the mythological Greco-Roman woman who
burned off his spikard ring and finger) "Thief!"
Todd "It takes one to know one."
Magni "How do you get it (the spikard) back?"
Aedan "You gotta want it real bad."
Magni "Okay, I want it real bad."
Sara "Aedan goes like this (imitates Bleys covering
his face and turning away)"
Dan "Mmmm. You just can't get enough lard."
Flora "Are you okay?"
Giselle "I have Unicorn hoof dirt down my bra. Other than that,
I'm okay."
Chronicler's Note: Who would have thought Giselle wore a bra?
Todd "What?"
Sara "I'm just disparaging your sex."
Todd "Do you mean my gender?"
Sara "No, your sex. Actually I can't do that since I don't
have any direct experience."
Todd (to Dan) "It's a good thing I erased all those tapes. You helped
me de-magnetize them, right?"
Dan "Yeah, I got all four."
Todd "Four? There were five tapes!"
Gabriel "Have there been any unusual murders or
assassinations in the Courts recently?"
Merlin "Calling an assassination 'unusual' in the Courts
would be…unusual."
Dan (to James) "They're frustrated and full of
energy. They're either going to kill you or have sex with you."
Simone
"'Please kill me,' says Raj."
GM "Dworkin says 'This is where we will leave
our mark.' Oberon pulls out a chalice and dagger and stabs Dworkin in the
sternum. Blood streams out into a chalice Oberon holds in his other hand.
Dworkin shrinks and twists and falls over. Magni, your scrotum retracts soooooo
far into your body…and then you collapse into unconsciousness."
Magni (with the Holy Grail, the Jewel of Judgment, and a pint
of his blood in his lap, enacting some strange ritual) "Hey, look:
the whole world really is revolving around my penis."
Gabriel "Can I use the Fount power to try to trump
Brand?"
GM "No. There's no trump in
the Fount."
Gabriel "I know. I was trying to cheat."
GM "I know."
Merlin (as Gabriel leaves) "Now that he's gone,
let's ransack the castle!"
Giselle "I have a whole bag of rubber duckies!"
Merlin "Let's go!"
Raj "I trump Gerard."
GM "No response."
Raj "I trump Flora."
GM "Nope. She must be dead too."
Raj (with dawning realization) "I start trumping everyone I don't
like: Brand first."
Ameer "Hey!"
Raj "My command of the obvious is unparalleled."
Raj "It looks like a three year
old was trying to draw the Pattern. But what was he trying to do?"
Bleys "I have no fucking idea."
GM "She wraps her entire
leg around your back."
Aedan "I say '...uh....'"
Dan "She's gonna give you the Cosmic Sutra."
Raj "Hmmm. Should I add to it or subtract
from it?"
Sara "Raj is more of an 'adding' kind of guy because he hasn't
made it to subtraction yet."
Raj "...and if anybody
comes in, I'm counting on you to stop 'em."
Magni "If anyone comes in, they'll get the most vicious oratory
they've ever received."
Eve "If you believe that, then your
only way is through me."
Raj "I don't believe it."
Todd "Make a saving throw."
Sara "If you change this world and change
Flora I'll be real upset because I like this Flora…if I remember."
James "The only one in real trouble is Aedan, 'cause I can't envision
a world in which Aedan gets laid."

Ghost of Brand "Don't give up your strength."
Giselle "I won't."
Ghost of Brand "You've done it once before."
Giselle "I know, but I can learn. I'm not that blonde."
Raj and Bleys (arguing about the Pattern-thing Magni made)
Todd "Use his (Bleys') blood."
Dan "He's got plenty."
Todd "Yeah, and he's not going to need it in another ten minutes
anyway (when the whole Multiverse changes again)."
