Unfortunately, due to Guy's decision to fill Vrin in on Gregory's
opinions of the other player characters at breakfast instead of back at home,
those vicious lies and half-truths were not recorded for posterity.
Dan "A five day waiting period? But I'm mad now!"
Simone (to Ameer) "Do you want to see if you survive
talking to Brand first, or do you just want to plunge into the unknown?"
Todd "Do the rest of us get to vote?"
Dan (leading the voting) "Plunge! Plunge! Plunge!"
GM "The Rebman delegation isn't
quite as high-ranking as you would expect."
James "Queen Moire said she was going to attend, as did Vialle."
GM "They're not here."
Dan "She's stiffing us! That's it! I've got some rocks
and a rowboat. I'll just go visit them."
GM (summarizing events for Vrin) "…and they found
shards of the Jewel of Judgment everywhere."
Vrin "Hmmm. That's easily faked."
Ameer "That's part of my Theory Train."
Dan "That's the caboose of the Theory Train."
Todd "Despite the name, not all Faeries are
homosexual."
James "Some of them are bi."
GM "Look at the way they're dressed."
Dan (shouting from the other room) "Fey are flammable!"
Gabriel (to various Fey nobles attending coronation ceremony)
"I am glad and pleased to see members of your species-"
All (snickers, guffaws, chuckles)
Gabriel "--uh, members of your Court, that is, were able to attend."
GM "Deirdre is dressed in a long,
silver gown…she looks…very good."
Todd "She looks awesome, so awesome that you just know she
and Aedan absolutely must be related."
James "Well, that's Aedan's delusion. Gabriel's got a delusion.
Now I need to come up with Raj's delusion."
Magni (exiting a short conversation with Rowena) "Hey
look! There's Raj."
Vrin (regarding I-forget-what) "It feels like a
happy little gnome dancing on your buttocks."
All (laughing) "What?"
Vrin, as Bill-the-Dog, unbothered by Vrin's bad musical choices,
as quoted by Ameer "Just keep scratching my ass and you can say
anything you want."
Todd (upon returning from the bathroom and reading what Ameer has written
in his notebook) "What's this about?"
GM "It should be 'and you can sing any
song you want.'"
Ameer "It was close."
Todd "It still doesn't make sense."
GM "Wait a minute, you forgot something….it
should be 'Just keep scratching my ass and giving me bones and you can sing
any song you want.' (to Ameer) You left out the best part."
Ameer "It was close enough."
GM "This is why you're not the chronicler.
Sheesh."
GM "The general partying is beginning."
Dan "It's Martin-Gras!"
Magni "You really should marry her, Raj."
Raj "I had thought that she was going to
be Aedan's girlfriend."
Aedan "I have centuries of wild, frivolous sex with strangers ahead
of me; I can't be tied down to one woman."
Magni "Aedan, those men can never do for you what she can."
Aedan "I didn't know that we needed
your permission to speak with each other."
Gabriel "In this matter, you do."
Raj (dangerously) "Why is that?"
Ameer/Gabriel "Oh, I didn't say that out loud."
