Gregory "What was he doing there besides getting
horribly wounded?"
Raj "Lying about,
bleeding…."
Dan (to the dogs, Cara and Bill) "The crotch has
arrived; you may sniff…ugh. Geez. If they ever make crotch-scented mints for
dogs…'My dog loves these treats. What flavor are they?'"
Sara (describing Giselle's appearance) "Her armor
has gone back to normal now. It's all pearly and white-it's mood armor."
GM "!"
Guy "You've broken the GM. Shame on you!"
Giselle "Hello. I have forty-two free seconds
to take a look at your Dad's lodge problem."
Gregory (sarcastically) "Wonderful."
Giselle "But I don't know where it is (with blonde hair flip)."
Gregory "You're really playing this 'bimbo' thing to the hilt,
aren't you?"
Ameer (to Guy) "Did I know you were going to speak to
Raj when we broke up?"
Todd "You guys broke up?"
Simone "Awww…."
Todd "Yeah. They made such a cute couple."
Aedan "…I seem
to have set him off when I told him Caine arrived without his (Corwin's) sword."
Guy "Or
his stomach."
Sara, "Benedict
didn't want him to have Grayswandir."
Guy "Or
his stomach."
Sara "He's
got five or six feet of small intestine to spare."
Aedan "I don't think that Caine should
be told our theory about the Unicorn not being the Unicorn, at least, not
until he has recovered-"
Gabriel "Or not told at all."
Aedan "-and I am out of range."
Gabriel "Good point."
GM (as a Crow) "I hate eating mice! I want Purina Crow
Chow!"
Aedan "What is your opinion of Bleys?"
Gabriel (chuckling) "He's a skilled, lying, manipulative bastard."
Aedan "So, you envy him?"
Ameer "It's a good thing I didn't make that
trump of Dara (since she's supposedly dead and it would have been a waste
of time). I was told she was one of Corwin's floozies, so why bother?"
Aedan "I remember speaking with Corwin a
few months ago about when he was our age and everybody used to ride off into
Shadow. They would spend a couple hundred years doing whatever they wanted
in fantastic lands out of their favorite daydreams. When do we get to do that?"
Ameer "If only I could come to terms I could
tell you what I need to tell you."
Guy "What?"
Ameer "I'm not sure I can tell you. I'm not being skeevy,
I just-"
Guy "I don't believe you."
Dan "Does he look weak?"
GM "Yeah, he looks…"
Dan "Like we could take him?"
GM "Yeah, you could kick his ass with a roll of duct
tape and a spoon."
Dan "Does it work?"
GM (dismissively) "It doesn't seem to be working."
Dan "It doesn't? I try really hard."
Gregory "I could hear you yelling all the
way down the hall. Are there other problems?"
Aedan (incredulously) "Do you want a list?"
Gabriel "Your paranoia seems to be well-placed."
Gregory "It seems to be now, because every time we're not paranoid
enough we get shat on."
Gregory "Julian used to have a nice wine
cellar. Now he has a nice cellar."
Gregory "If you shrink my underwear while I'm wearing
it I'm going to be upset."
Gabriel "Who?"
Gregory "Ailill.
Gabriel "Okay."
Gregory "But I would owe him something."
Gabriel "Oh."
Gregory "I'd probably ask Giselle. She already owes him something."
