Dan "I shift as close to Amber as I can before
the condoms turn into wicker."
GM "Oh, the splinters!"
James "How about Gregory? He's like a First-Level
monster; we could take him down."
Raj "What exactly
are you doing?"
Giselle "We're attempting to contain Uncle Benedict."
Aedan "Well, we'll just be on our way…."
GM (As the PC's are approaching the Brand-Corwin tete-a-tete)
"You smell smoke, a crispy, chicken-smell."
James "Corwin--the other white meat."
Dan "Brand is a puppet of evil."
James "He's an architect of evil. Don't sell him short."
Brand "It's conceivable that this thing is
an artifact of the Patternfall War."
Aedan "Is there any evidence to support that theory?"
Raj "Who could make such an artifact?
Magni "Where's the 'OFF' button, Brand?"
Dan "Magni is cautiously listening."
Dan "Are you a contrarian?"
K.J. "No."
Dan "Oh. Hey, wait a minute!"
Corwin "Thelbane was not admitting visitors when
I was there last."
Aedan "If we're going to be impolite to each
other you might have servants fetch us chairs."
Brand "No, because then you might stay."
Magni "You're right. Why should we cooperate [extended rant
not captured by chronicler who can only write so fast]."
Raj "Ooh. Good rant."
GM (As the characters are gathering armies in Shadow)
"You find a whole bunch of grammas but put them aside as too troublesome."
Dan "I want a bunch of tunnel-digging, dog-faced, armadillo muthafuckas,
but they worship Raj."
Aedan "…given our family's lack of precedent (in
the royal succession)."
Bleys "Since we only have the one time that the unicorn appeared
and presented the Jewel to Random."
Aedan "…and that hasn't happened in this case."
Bleys "Being as we lack the Jewel of Judgment and the 'Unicorn'
is feeling a bit uppity."
