Where
Did the Dead Dog Come From? Gregory questioned the guards in the Castle and wasn’t satisfied with their answers. He found his armor, but it looked different. He put it on anyway and trumped Aedan. Aedan pulled Gregory into the strange, spectral gray lands associated with Tir. Deirdre, Gregory, and Aedan conversed as NOT detailed in this week’s quotes. Aedan looked distracted, wandered off a couple steps, and disappeared. Gregory and Deirdre approached the Castle in Tir and overheard Random’s and Julian’s ghosts arguing. Raj
and Giselle traveled in the far reaches of the Fey realms. They encountered
bizarre trees and fought the Old Testament Unicorn. For some reason, the
Unicorn ran away and a horde of wolf creatures attacked. Giselle swiped
at them with the Helix sword while Raj used his machismo. Suddenly, they
faced off against the Unicorn again, this time noticing that it was missing
its horn. They tried to reason with it, but it wouldn’t listen. The Unicorn
kicked Giselle so Raj bludgeoned it with a dead dog. Gabriel rummaged through his father’s things at the Keep. He stumbled upon a battalion of approximately three thousand soldiers commanded by Lord Rellin. Gabriel made arrangements with him to take over the world, then he returned to rummaging.

GM's Commentary in which you will find some references to the actual events that occurred in the game -- usually less amusing (or flattering to Todd's character) than the Chronicler's version...

Mister Gregory’s Wild Ride Gregory
got separated from Deirdre and went to Tir’s Pattern Room. He followed
a trail of drops of blood into a room adorned by a pair of columns. In
the middle of the room, Aedan lay bleeding and broken on a palate next
to Corwin, who was in even worse shape. Both of the stunningly handsome
men were unconscious. The room went dark, then a flash of light illuminated
everything in bloody crimson. Gregory saw something attached to the end
of the Pattern. He stepped onto it and was so overwhelmed by the power
of it that he forgot his shoe size, his favorite color, and his gay lover’s
name (Rodolfo). He had a freaky-deaky experience, then found himself on
the functional end of the Trump sword, out of Tir and in the real world
once more. Raj
and Giselle argued more with Eve, who was attempting to save Raj from
“the Enemy.” The Seraph contacted Giselle and whined about how it had
helped the others but they hadn’t helped it. Eve and the Seraph displayed
their dislike for one another. Aedan awoke in Tir and stumbled into Martin. They walked down the long stairs back to the real Castle on Kolvir. They hurried down to the Pattern room, where they found Gabriel and Gregory arguing about whether or not the Leviathan was a good thing1. Also, there was another Martin there. It was like déjà vu, but without the vu part.

1. yes, they actually argued about it. I mean, it's Leviathan! That which consumes! Come on, people! How good can it be? |

Most of Julian Returns Gregory
somehow attempted to bring dead Julian into the universe, despite numerous
GM warnings about just how WRONG that would be. At one with the cosmos,
Gregory knew that to bring someone here from there, he had to trade. So
he killed one of our innocent elders whose only crime was being an utter
and complete prick. In doing so, he caused a huge blast of funky energy
to spear through the Pattern. Julian appeared and landed on Gregory. They
both collapsed against a wall with similar smirks of success on their
pointy faces. Aedan
made sure they both weren’t dead. Julian’s sleeping body was deformed,
crooked, and vaguely leprous3.
He awoke and called for his blanky and Gerard. Gregory was unconscious
and beaten up, but aside from the fact that his armor was now smoky black,
he seemed okay. Oh, except for the smell. Gabriel trumped Merlin and had him evaluate the two Martin’s. Gabriel then had Merlin take one of them through to Chaos without asking anyone if that was okay. Gabriel, the remaining Martin, Aedan, Julian, and Gregory went to the Great Hall and ate vast quantities of food. Julian left first and Gregory followed him.4 |
2. Actually, Julian cried out, "Gerard!" before collapsing unconscious onto Gregory. 3. Julian had been slightly deformed and very scarred before the campaign began; no one had seen him out of his armor or at least full-length clothing since his youth. This was known to some of the PC's and some of Julian's siblings. 4. Julian was not able to ascend the stairs; he was Trumped up to Flora who was in the Castle's Great Hall. |
