Cleaning Up

Lesser priests escorted the confused masses out of the Hall of the Unicorn. Raj and Corwin investigated the hidden unicorn-torture chamber and found needles and used condoms. Ugh1.

Flora and Giselle forged a silver cap for the horn of the unicorn to stop it from leaking. Aedan analyzed the fluid from drops left on Gregory’s cloak and discovered that it is in fact, cold-fusionized mozzarella cheese and it tastes fantastic.2

Gabriel and Gregory grabbed their blankeys and ran to the Pattern room. The black spots on the Pattern appear to be fading somewhat. Gabriel sealed them both inside for nefarious reasons.

Raj turned the unicorn horn over to Corwin, who accepted personal responsibility for it, so when it gets stolen you can challenge him to a duel. Aedan told Corwin that Merlin was the new King in Chaos. Corwin indicated that he would have to talk to Dara real soon. Aedan and Raj rescued Gregory and Gabriel from the Pattern room. They all reported to Martin and managed to avoid being assigned any tedious tasks. Whew.

Everyone met at Gabriel’s rooms at six o’clock and had one of those discussions that seem to happen about every other session. Gabriel revealed that Brand was surprised by the Unicorn torture chamber because it looked exactly like something he, Bleys, and Fiona had planned forty years before. Of course, Brand said that it was Bleys’ and Fiona’s idea, not his3. Yeah, right.

Gabriel performed a depressing trump scrye. Brand, Merlin, and Osric resonated with the future card: the five of swords. Look it up. Gabriel defended Brand’s capture of Finnvarra’s court as a case of reneging on favors owed. Brand didn’t want to pay, so he locked them up.

Dinner was served in the Great Hall. The atmosphere was subdued. Gerard, Corwin, Martin, and Flora were in attendance.

Raj and Gregory went to seek Bleys, with results told in Gabriel’s propaganda sheet.
