Skeet and Aidan meet…

At some point, around ten years ago at one event or another, Aidan has approached Sebastian.After a reasonable amount of small talk, Aidan would have steered the two of them to a more discreet location on the edge of the room, just far enough away from others that a more private conversation could be had.
"We have something in common, and I am curious as to the similarities of experience." He's talking about the blood of Amber. If asked, Aidan would say that it is the presence of of the blood that matters, not how it got there.

"Yes, we do have that in common. What questions do you have?"--Aidan
"Upon being introduced to the occasional person, I have noticed that some immediately fall into considered reflection. As if I am a piece to be played in their game. Or, more likely, how their new knowledge changes a situation that they thought was well understood."--Skeet
Skeet smirks. "Yes, but once they learn you are not to be toyed with, they at least show some respect."* * *
