Undertow — Blade and not Rio
Rio escapes Amber after the events of Undertow...

--Chris:
Can Blade get a chance to talk to Rio alone after the Regency vote? If nothing is going to happen between now and ACUS05, just tell me to cool my jets and I'll wait a year. But, if you are willing to let us muck about on our own before major events are set into motion again next March, then Blade wants to talk to his sister (and probably his foster brother, Laertes, as well).--Simone:
I'd love for you two to talk a bit, especially now / soon while events are still fairly fresh in your minds. But if you can wait a few, I need to collate all the characters' stories and locations and get a summary out to everyone. I think some folks might be hard to reach at first, so I must establish a time line.--Leslie:
Hmmmm... Might be tricky.Rio's plans as the game ended were to grab Dad and get the h*ll out of Amber! Fast! Sonic-boom fast! Leaving infra-red skid marks fast! Faster than that if possible! <laugh>
If Blade happened to step out of a doorway in front of her, well he *is* the son of Bleys, he might get as far as "Ri..." before being plowed under in Rio's absolutely panicked flight.
--Chris:
Does she answer Trump calls?--Leslie:
No, no, no! Trump calls bad. Very bad!Sorry. Once Rio's panic had died down (that is assuming she does get out of Amber) she will probably call Blade. But for the immediate future following the game, Rio's about as inaccessible and undistractable as she can get.
[Leslie also cc'd Chris on Rio's diary: "just in case you wanted to know why Rio is going to be hard to find and not answering any Trump calls right now."]
