Duncan would have been obviously disturbed by his father's anger. He won't bring it up unless Benedict does, but he's very suspicious that something else is going on after the sudden change of attitude.
In the meantime, Duncan still throws himself into his training and takes every opportunity to involve himself in field exercises. If any of Benedict's men are being trained for something specific he'll make note of it.* * *
