1) How do you feel about the fact that your parent is extremely powerful compared to yourself and, even moreso, compared to shadow dwellers? Have you adopted their attitudes or rebelled against them?
Blade has always had a sense that he was more than others. His meeting with his father for the first time was his first inkling that there were greater beings than himself in the universe. He has very much adopted Bleys's attitude in this regard--even before he knew of Amber.
2) How do you feel about the fact that Amber is denied to you, at least 'until you're ready?"
Very displeased. Life in Torveth is highly pleasant for Blade, but it's not like when he was living in Amber before Bleys returned from Patternfall. This is one of the things that Blade resents Bleys for.
3) If your Amber parent could be different than they were, what one thing would you most like to change about them?Less controlling. Blade is ready, dammit! When will Bleys understand that?
4) What would you most like to do with your Amber parent, in an ideal world?
Play wargames. Blade is confident that he still has much to learn from Bleys. He would love to play wargames for years on end until he began to win them once in a while.
5) Do you respect or fear your Amber parent?
Yes.
6) What do you want most from your Amber parent?
Recognition that he is capable and ready to start exploring the universe on his own.
